What if my project is waitlisted?
If your project is recommended to be the waitlisted library for a specific tier, then you will still complete the Planning and Design Phase simultaneously with the immediately-funded libraries, including the independent design review and cost estimate. If one of the immediately-funded projects in your tier cannot secure local funding, the Board will vote to award your project to take its place. If all projects in your tier secure their local funding, then your municipality has the choice of moving forward immediately and receiving reimbursement payments when the MPLCP’s annual cap allows or waiting to move forward until the Board offers the project a provisional award when the MPLCP’s annual cap allows.
