Why must we provide at least two site options for the application?
The purpose of this grant program is to improve library services through improved facilities. While understanding the inherent value of our historic buildings, oftentimes, attachment to the building can cloud judgment about what is best for sustainably serving the community for decades to come. Therefore, providing two feasible and viable site options allows the design team to adequately evaluate which site can best accommodate the library building program, and, in turn, which site will serve the community’s needs best.
