Does a partial renovation of our existing library or just an addition qualify for this grant opportunity?
MPLCP grants are for whole building projects only, with the library building program’s accommodation as the driving force. All spaces must be part of the project. Therefore, a renovation of one or two spaces or an addition for the sake of adding an elevator, if it does not satisfy the needs outlined in the library building program, would not qualify.
